Taylors Hill in the Republic of Ireland is found in the city of Galway. There are many things for you to do around Taylors Hill in Galway itself, and it's certain that you won't want to leave this lovely country to go back home when the time comes.

There are a number of charming bed and breakfast inns at Taylors Hill where you can stay. These range from the larger bed and breakfasts which cater to larger numbers of people to the smaller, more intimate bed and breakfast lodges. These, you will find are mainly family run businesses and might be just what you need - a touch of warm Irish friendliness first thing in the morning can go a long way towards making your day seem brighter.

And now that you have your place of stay all sorted out, you will want to look around Galway itself - exploring the different nooks and crannies which goes to making this countryside so very interesting and vibrant.

Eyre Square is a meeting point at the heart of Galway, and from here you can begin your tour of the city if you want. Or of course, you could dig in and start from one end and proceed to the other.

You will also find as you travel a little around Taylors Hill and Galway itself, that the residents of this charming city speak the lyrical Irish language as easily as they speak English - something that is not so prevalent amongst the other Irish cities.

Galway is also known as Ireland's cultural heart, and you will find that there are many interesting things to see while you are here, such as the Galway City Museum. The museum is comprised of two parts, 'Fragments of a City' being one part, the part which focuses on the history and heritage of Galway itself; and 'On Reflection' being the second part - this part focuses on Irish artists from the latter half of the 20th Century.

If you want to catch a production entirely in Irish, then you can do no better than visiting the Taibhdhearc na Gaillimhe, an Irish language theater. There are also a number of other theatres in Galway, and you will find some truly enriching performances at any one of these.

There are also many events taking place in Galway throughout the year, and Taylors Hill makes for a good base from which you can take them all in. From here you can travel anywhere you want, and come back knowing there is a warm bed waiting for you at the end of the day. Some of the events include the Galway International Oyster Festival which is held in September, the Galway Arts Festival which is held in July, and the Galway Races which are held in August.

Taylors Hill in Gallway, is probably one of the best places for you to come for a weekend getaway, more if you can manage it. You will leave feeling refreshed and replenished, the wonders of the countryside working its magic on your soul. And remember - you will always have Taylors Hill and Galway as fond memories.
