Liverpool is an Amazing Shopping City
Liverpool is a fantastic place for many reasons, one being,
shopping. I find shopping in Liverpool incredible, there s so
much to choose from. Liverpool City Centre is great; it has a
variety of different stores, from big brands to high street
stores. No matter what your budget, you can get most things at
a reasonable price.
Liverpool s main shopping centre is Liverpool ONE. This amazing
shopping centre has everything you need under one roof. It has
cafes, restaurants, high street shops, big brand stores and so
much more. In Liverpool ONE there are approximately 160
different stores. Some of the many are, H& M, Henleys, G
Star, H Samuel, Adidas, Ann Summers, Republic, HMV, Greggs,
Bench and Jane Norman. Each store is open until 8pm on
weekdays. So for those late night shoppers, this is great.
In Liverpool ONE there is also an Odeon Cinema with 14
screening rooms. Public Transport to and from Liverpool ONE is
excellent, so you ll never have to worry about how you re going
to get there and back. Nearby, there are many train stations,
such as, Lime Street Station, James Street, Moorfields and
Central. For further information on planning your journey to
Liverpool ONE, call 0871 200 2233. The opening hours for the
stores are, Mon Fri: 9.30am 8pm, Sat 9am 7pm, Sun 11am 5pm.
Another incredible shopping centre in
Liverpool is St Johns Shopping Centre. The opening times are,
Mon Wed: 9am 5.30pm, Thurs: 9am 8pm, Fri Sat: 9am 5.30pm and
Sun 10am 5pm. This shopping centre is easy to get to and there
are buses coming to and from the shopping centre throughout the
day. St Johns Shopping Centre has plenty of department stores
aswell as high street stores, for example, Argos, Bodycare,
Claires, Clinton Cards, Evans and more.
There are many facilities throughout St Johns Shopping Centre.
These are toilets, cash machines, passport photographs,
disabled access, public phones and a food court. The food court
has, McDonalds, KFC, Shere Khan, Subway and Spud U Like.
Overall there are 420 seats, so there is plenty of space to
eat. St Johns Shopping Centre has its own car park which is
open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Clayton Square is also one of Liverpool s best shopping
centres. The opening times are, Mon Sat: 9am 6pm, Sun: 11am
5pm. Public Transport around Clayton Square is very good. Some
of the popular stores in Clayton Square are Game, Disney Store,
Wallis, Boots, JD Sports and Tie Rack.
Also a very nice place to shop is Cavern Walks, which is on
Mathew Street. It is known as the epicentre of Liverpool. If
you are planning on using satellite navigation to get there,
the post code is, L2 6RE.Cavern Walks is a great shopping
experience. It has many boutiques and stores.
As well as Cavern Walks, the Metquarter in Liverpool is another
excellent place to shop. It is one of the newest shopping
centres in Liverpool. Some of the many designer shops are, Miss
Sixty, Diesel, Firetrap and Coast. The main entrance to the
Metquarter is from the Whitechapel.
My personal favourite place to shop in Liverpool is the
Liverpool ONE, however the rest of these shopping areas are
very pleasant and have plenty of things to do
