Kent is a county in the South East of England bordered by Surrey, Greater London and East Sussex. The county also has a defined border with Essex in the middle of the Thames Estuary and a nominal border with France half way through the channel tunnel.

Kent's county town is Maidstone and Canterbury has the status of a city. Folkstone and Dover are two of the county's well known ports. The latter made famous in the Vera Lynn classic 'White Cliffs Of Dover'.

Kent is also known for it's large amount of orchards and hop gardens and has been nicknamed 'The Garden Of England'.
