Travelling in Wales is easy, as you can go from place to place in Public Transport.

You may enquire about the local timings and just get going on your itinerary. They provide information about many journeys, timetables for Buses & Trains to the most popular Welsh destinations and you can all arrangements in advance if you wish.

The serene surroundings in Wales must be seen to be believed. With beautiful and stunning landscapes you will just fall in love with this Green Country.

If you hop on to a Steam Engine that is moving slowly, you will enjoy the extra special scenery of this region. All these narrow gauge Steam Trains have plenty of polished paintwork and Brass to impress you.

By just paying 10 pounds for a card, you can get 20 discount on your return journey and the Discount Card is valid for a whole year from the date you travel on your first journey.

If you are going out to see the Welsh Green Countryside, then forget your car and take an open ‘Sherpa” bus and go sightseeing especially if going to the Snowdonia National Park. You will find that these buses are available throughout Wales in Summer.

Just get a Wales Flexi Pass and get access to major tourist attractions across Wales on a Public Bus or Train. Pass holders get other benefits too like getting into major tourist attractions at a discount. Visit all major places that you can see on the map provided with the Flexi Pass.

TrawsCambria is another mode of traveling to longer distances in Volvo type buses.

Brecon Beacons National Park is a place where you can really enjoy the Green and Clean environment. They hold exhibitions around the year with tips on how to turn your house Green as well ?

Many scarce species of different animals are also found here like Lizards, Toads, Hedgehogs and Slow Worms and you may also come across a Dormouse or two which is a tiny local mammal.

Beach life could not get better than at Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. With its rugged hills, sandy beaches, wild inside hills (a place for sanctuary for the wild animals).

This place is made of spectacular scenery and protected by by the State. There is centuries of history leaving it’s mark with Tombs & Castles, Crosses & Cottages, Quarries & Quays. This is the place where people and nature co exist very well.

The weather in Wales is a little unpredictable & the rain comes unexpectedly especially between October till January which are the worst. During winter snow is sure to come, but the snow on the peaks of Brecon Beacons or the Cambrian Mountains is a sight not to be missed.

The warm days come quickly to places like Pembrokeshire and that’s why it provides the Potatoes so well in the UK. In West Wales you get a lot of sunshine making it the UK’s sunniest place.

In most of Wales temperatures usually hang around 20 degree Celsius making for lovely Sandy Beach Walks. You can go Climbing (both in winter & summer), caving, exploring the underground with all the necessities, diving.

It’s the best place in the whole of UK with every thing you need for fishing, which is an experience you will never forget because of the stunningly beautiful surroundings, mountain biking in one of the most rugged sites in the Europe is available all year around.

There are many other options too like Wind Surfing & Kite Surfing, Rafting Canoeing or Kayaking, Horse Riding or Simple Tracking, Hiking, Golf, Cycling, Geocaching or Coasteering.

There are lots of Gardens in Wales where you can see a variety of plants like Roses, Foxgloves, Sneezeweed, Dogwood, Poppies, Skunk Cabbage, Dendrobium Canaliculatum etc.

One of the birds that you will find in Wales is the Red Kite with its red chestnut colour and striking white patches under its wings and it’s a delight watching it fly. You can go to the middle of Wales and see this bird in Nature’s Park, which is a Park run by a couple, Richard & Pam Knight where they organize shows for small groups.

Feeling tired? Go to a spa resort and get the mud applied to your skin and then have a massage and relax. After some time, have a bath & once again you will feel on top of the world.

This Autumn why not try West Wales in your Holidays, as it offers a lot of opportunities to see many Musical Events, Open Air Adventures, Local Food Festivals and some Gastro Pubs offering a large variety of drinks.
