Gatwick Airport Parking
If you are intending to get a flight from Gatwick airport in
the near future, will need to use one of the many Gatwick
airport parking services. Gatwick airport is one of our busiest
airports and is also the most high trafficed airport in the
world. As should be obvious car parking at Gatwick is often a
touch busy.
At Gatwick you will find two terminals and lots of different
car parking businesses providing a variety of services.
The most heavily used car park is short term parking and this
is where you will find the cheapest car parking. The short stay
car park is near the main airport entry and is mostly used by
people parking for a few hours, useful if you are returning the
same day or if you are just dropping friends off. There is no
need to book, just turn up, take a ticket on entry and pay when
you exit.
If you select the short stay option there is also the Fast
Track service. Those parts of the car park are undercover and
have a fast link to the main terminal buildings. This facility
is mainly aimed at the business traveller as opposed to the
leisure market or for setting someone down/ picking them up.
Gatwick do operate a short stay special which if pre booked
gives discounts on the usual short stay parking rates for stays
of one day or more. Normal rates for short stay parking are
around the £20 per day mark,so if staying for more than a few
days is obviously not the cheapest option.
Gatwick airport parking also offer long term parking and
Gatwick airport hotel car parking. Service is approximately
every ten minutes on the shuttle bus. This parking is there for
those who are going abroad for at least a week or on a weeks
business trip and is the place to park if you ll be away for at
least a day. For the upmarket Gatwick parking customer you can
select the Top Star valet service and have your vehicle valeted
for you.
Gatwick holiday parking is another long stay option, but is
only open from April until the end of October. Holiday parking
is located a few miles from the airport itself but security is
assured as it it manned 24/7. It is also enclosed by security
fencing and covered by cctv. Access to Holiday parking is via
exit nine on the M23. Transfer to terminals is via courtesy
buses that run every thirty minutes.
You should reserve your parking space before you travel to the
airport as this will reduce time wasted finding a space
considerably. By booking in advance you ll usually save money
particularly if you shop around online.
Booking your airport parking online is a lot more efficient in
terms of time and cost. It is so easy now so try a price
comparison. Big savings are usually to be found on the internet
as there are numerous websites that provide airport parking,
that compete against each other so make sure you get a
discount.
