Brighton is a very famous tourist center in the United Kingdom attracting more than eight
million tourists each year. Out of this more than three millions of them are foreigners. Brighton has the
distinction of having been selected as one of the top 10 best UK Cities by the Observer's Travel Awards. Brighton
attracts diverse groups of people like businessmen, tourists, sightseers, families, and couples. Brighton has the
knack of satisfying all to their hearts content.
The city of Brighton is said to attract the sun, being located in between the South Downs and England's South
Coast. You will be simply mesmerized by its glorious beachfront, great shopping centers, art galleries and museums
that can satisfy all types of visitors. There are many tourist attractions and numerous activities to do while you
are in Brighton. These places of interest and activities are available at any time of the year. Brighton is famous
for many of the events that are hosted in this great city. These various events are known to attract many thousands
of visitors every year. The Kite festival and the Powerboat racing are very popular events.
The London Brighton Vintage Car Rally is one of the most famous annual events and it attracts many of the visitors.
During this season Brighton looks and feels its best. With its ideal location, the city offers easy access to the
beautiful hinterland. Places like Arundel, Hever and Leeds Castles can be visited easily by staying in Brighton as
they are within easy reach. For health freaks that love walking, the South Down provides excellent walking tracks
with many water holes. There are many walking tracks that stretch from Brighton to its sister city of Hove.
As Brighton is a seaside town it is famous for its wonderful beachfront. This happens to be the best attraction in
the city. It seems that all the activities are spun around the beachfront and more things happen around it during
any part of the day. You and your family can spend hours just relaxing on the beach. The Brighton beach is very
famous for its water sports and other beach activities. The beach has many activities like surfing and sailing.
Swimming in the waters is unique with warm and soothing water caressing every part of your body.
If you are more active you can take part in one of the games that are played on the beach like volley ball,
basketball or go skateboarding. There are many other water related activities in and around the beach. You will
find that this is the best place just to relax watching all these activities going around you.
If you want to shop around there are many shopping places around at the Lanes. You can get all you want from these
unique shops which are located in the Lanes. There are many conducted tours that are offered to all the parts of
the city and as they are operated on a hop on hop off basis you can just see the city and its many attractions at
